The local government unit of Nabunturan joins the weeklong celebration of the 12th Provincial Jamboree in Monkayo, Compostela Valley which started from September 27– to October 1, 2018.
The annual jamboree strengthens the value of camaraderie and ingenuity in each scout. With the theme “Commitment to Excellence,” various activities like adventure trail, monkey bar challenge, puso-making, larong pinoy, and others were observed.
70 high school students from Nabunturan National Comprehensive High School (NNCHS), Magsaysay NHS, New Sibonga NCHS, Manat NHS, and Mainit NHS actively joined the jamboree.
While, 41 elementary students from Manat Elementary School (MES), Mainit ES, Kao, ES, Libasan ES, Malinawon ES, Magsaysay ES, Nabunturan CES, Anislagan ES, Magading ES, and more.
In preparation for the said event, LGU-Nabunturan showcased Camp Amatong as the stronghold of the participating scouts.
Camp Amatong is a rising Eiffel Tower-like building that illuminates its vicinity at night with led-lights framed in its structure. It is also the most sought camp, with it being a picture-perfect venue for millennials who wants to feel like they’re in Paris.
Moreover, it offered shirts and abaca-woven products like bags, hats, and slippers at a cheap price. It also exhibited amazing paintings made by senior high students of Nabunturan National Comprehensive High School.
