With the governments vision of a “safer, adaptive and disaster-resilient Filipino communities towards sustainable development”, the Local Government Unit of Nabunturan under the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO) steps up in equipping the responders through a number of advance trainings.
Through the strong collaboration of the Stout Risk Reduction Management Training and Consultancy Services Inc., Municipality of Nabunturan, and the Province of Compostela Valley, thru the Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office (PDRRMO), LGU-Nabunturan salutes to its 4 new Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) who have undergone an extensive and challenging 1 month training in the Provincial Capitol, Cabidianan, Nabunturan, ComVal.
The newly graduate EMTs are Ms. Maria Anarey Adlawan, James Bryan Monera, Lloyd Gucor, and Irwin Melendres of Nabunturan Emergency Response Team (NERT), who are also holders of National Certificate II in Emergency Medical Service (EMS).
They also successfully passed the Australasian Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (AREMT) international assessment, through online, which covers 199 items in 1 hour and 30 minutes.
AREMT is a professional Emergency Medical Service organization for industry medical technicians needing recognition of their qualifications.
On one hand, NERT responders, municipal radio-operators, and Listong Kabataan focal person attended the 4-day training on Emergency Vehicle Operations Course and Emergency Medical Dispatch Training conducted by the Stout Risk Reduction Management Training and Consultancy Services Inc. headed by Advanced Emergency Medical Technician, Mark Libo-on held in Comval Hotel, Nabunturan.
Marked as another milestone of the municipality, today, July 14, 2019 the Local Government Unit of Nabunturan is proud to have a number of trained individuals who shall provide fast and efficient services to the people.
