In pursuance of DILG Memorandum Circular No. 2022-029, a Local Governance Transition meeting was convened and attended by the Local Governance Transition Team composed of the department heads, section heads, and Sir Puig from NAFESCA (a representative from the Civil Society Organization).
With good governance and commitment to the continuity of public service at the core, Mayor Chelita C. Amatong ensures that necessary preparations are made for a smooth and efficient transition.
The meeting was presided by Ben Jasper A. Tomas, Private Secretary II. The team is set to ensure that LGU records and documents are gathered and secured in time for the turnover of the newly-elected local officials.
Among the tasks of the team is the conduct of an inventory of immovable and movable LGU properties and gathering of official documents and/or records of LGU official transactions which includes the Full Disclosure Policy Documents, plans, and reports.
Various offices were tasked and assigned for the submission of the documents on or before May 30, 2022 -giving ample time for the preparation and organization of the documents before the meeting on May 31, which will then focus on the necessary measures and plans for the turnover ceremony of the incoming local officials.
The Local Government Unit of Nabunturan shall remain steadfast in providing quality public service to the people of Nabunturan.
