In the year 1953 barangay “Magading” was created and named after Datu Siocon. There are four pie shapes that symbolize the equality of the people in the Barangay. Its shape shows the wealthy of the barangay. Tha agricultural and the fruits products is the main livelihood of the people in the area.

The land in Magading is by and large Agricultural (886.393 has.) while the rest is distributed to Built-up area (6.5 has.); Industrial (2 has.); Brushland (3.25 has.); and Rivers/Creeks (7.0118 has.).
